POPULATION CONTROL IN INDIA
· Indian government should follow population control policy because we are now 134 Crore and its increasing at the rate of 1.2% in a year means 1 crore 80 lakh in every year.
· If this growth is continuing then it will cross China in 2030.
· In India, 34 births and 10 deaths in every minute it just 3 times more is population is growing.
· Fastest growing religion in Indian is Muslims who are already 20% of the total population.
· The reason behind why we continue growing
1. Lack of Education (in India 40% of people does not know about the contraceptive methods)
2. Lack of Family Planning
3. Religious strategy
4. Lack of Entertainment
5. They will produce N no of girl child until they have a son.
· China is already come up with population control policies and make it a rule in 1979 is ‘one child per family’. So how China can do that, the Chinese government give only one birth certificate for the one family an offer special benefits to those who agreed with this government policy. And those who are not greed with this policy then they have to give 50% more tax. And punished by loss of employment.
· Later this plan had changed because in future it will create a problem so the government agreed on the second child can a girl if not then abortion.
· In India Indra Gandhi had tried to control population during that time most of the men are cajoled (Naqshbandi) by paid or forcefully in the name of Population control. So, this plan was failed for some reason.
· But now, if we will not follow the 2-child policy then in 10 years we 40% fewer resources than now resource mean (air, water, land).
· Benefits of population control in India
1. Development of agriculture and industry
2. Standard of living
3. Urbanization
4. More Employment Opportunities for Indian people.
