First Internship Experience

I was doing an internship in the INTELLO LABS company at Gurugram, my internship post as Crop Quality analyst.

I was selected as an intern through Internshala website, the process is first I applied a number of companies for an internship then I got a call from Intello labs, an Aishani mam was speaking said your application is selected and we wanted to take a telephonic interview. So, I gave an interview then after 2 days I received my offer letter for an internship at Gurugram.

Firstly, I was not prepared for this internship at Gurugram for this I need to take the metro from Ghaziabad to Gurugram approximate 2 hours ride which is 62 km. and I was not getting permitted from college.

Somehow all things resolved and I went to Delhi my sister’s house which is in Ghaziabad.

DAY 1

I went to the company then Mrs. Komal contacts me, who is assistance HR at Intello labs. So, day one everyone welcomes me and I gave my introduction to all then I do some formalities of joining like account details and Identity card then I leave early.

DAY 2

Mr. Ramkrishan Head HR at Intello labs made my logins on the company server. So, from now, I am a registered employee. Then I meet my analyst team.

In a team, Shikha, Sahil, Ranjit and me. That day Sahil explain to me every process like, what is our work? what do we do? And when we do?

That day, a got some other work which prepares a data set for some Grains. I did that and return to the metro. I was shocked when I saw the metro row, waiting for their number. The row was very long. Somehow, I manage to went to the metro and safely go home.

ONE MONTH

In one month, I did a lot of mistakes like communication mistakes, early speaking and many times my manager chide at me.

I developed a good bond between my team and I am technically strong so, I was going great. In one month, I learned a lot like,

TWO MONTHS

I was working well, now time to go home, I joined on 1 September and I leave on 31 October. In the last month, I filed my resignation letter. Then on the next day HR, sir called me to ask, why are you leaving, how you any problem with any employee, have you not liked your work, and I say, sir, nothing like that my exams are starting from 15 of December that’s why I was leaving. Then they asked to rejoin the company in January. I denied this offer. He said ok no problem. Enjoy!

BOTTOM LINE

This the greatest opportunity I got. I learned a lot like everything in a company. I make new friends. I learn about new technologies. This was my first internship, so learning is very important and this company is an AI-based startup. In a startup, you are not bound to do a single task only you have to do many works like I took interview of two interns so learning opportunity is greater in a startup.

In this company there is no workload, no pressure of deadline just do you your work comfortably. I would recommend everyone please join your first internship.
